A Quinta do Portal foi a primeira vinícola do Douro a
engarrafar um vinho DOC Douro Grande Reserva. Foi o 1996, logo ele vencedor de
uma Medalha de Ouro na edição de 2000 do Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Desde
então engarrafamos Grande Reserva apenas por mais 10 vezes (2000, 2001, 2003,
2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2016 e 2019), tendo-lhes sido atribuídos 30
pontuações acima de 90 pontos pela crítica internacional, 16 Medalhas de Ouro,
o Troféu de Melhor Vinho do Douro (IWC 2008) e ainda Melhor Vinho do Ano e
Melhor Vinho Tinto de Lote (Concurso de Vinhos de Portugal 2016), entre várias
outras distinções nacionais e internacionais.
Quinta do Portal was the first Dour winery to release a Grande Reserva DOC Douro wine. It was the 1996 edition, that won its first Gold Medal at the 2000 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Since then we only released Grande Reserva 10 more times (2000, 2001, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2016 e 2019) having achieved 30 ratings of 90+ points given by the international critic, 16 Gold Medals, The Douro Trophy (IWC 2008), Best Wine of the Year and Best Red Blend (Portuguese Wines Competition 2016), among various other national and international awards.
